Believe.

At C.G.I.A, we are firm believers that everything happens for a reason.

It’s not all in your hands. When we say that things go the way they do because of you, we are mainly referring to those “feelings” that you tend to have after something happens, which leads to other “reactions”, which leads to “good karma/bad karma”…all that good stuff. (But we’ll talk more about that when we get to Key #2, CAMERA. It’s a little “big” for a third post!)

Though C.G.I.A is a Christian-based non-profit organization, Christianity is not something that we try to shove down our girls’ throats. Here at C.G.I.A, our main attempt is making sure that the girls do believe that there is something out there in the universe that is bigger than they are. Having this belief will help them to understand that they are co-creators. Co-creators; meaning that they will take whatever action that they need to take in order to make their visions manifest; after they have given it their all, they give the rest of the work to the universe, Spirit, Allah, Buddha, God (however it is that they understand Him), and/or whatever it is that they want to call that higher power. (Talked more about when we reach key #2)

It is so much harder not believing in anything at all! For instance, when one is alone…in the middle of the night…no one is around to talk to…no one who can understand them…no one who can give them peace…it’s…for lack of a better word… TERRIBLE. We know that many of you have been in that position before. It’s a natural feeling for human beings to have, but it can be “fixed”.

So give it a shot. Choose to believe!

Believe in something that is rooted in “goodness, mercy, peace, and serving a higher purpose”. You can turn to the universe, Spirit, Allah, Buddha, God, and they and/or their purposes will always be there to comfort, listen, and reveal! After all–if you want to believe in this as well–they and/or their purposes have been here since the beginning of time….

We encourage you today to believe.

Remember, “if you don’t believe in something, you will fall for anything“.

Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
